City semifinals: San Fernando takes 4-2 lead

An RBI single by Roberto Ramos gives San Fernando a 4-2 lead over Banning after four innings of a tedious City Section Division I semifinal at USC.

Banning Coach John Gonzalez has been restricted to the dugout after arguing with the plate umpire in the fourth inning.

Banning replaced its starting pitcher, Gino Brockway, with Mario Verduzco in the inning.

San Fernando pitcher Alonzo Garcia is picking up steam. He has struck out three consecutive batters.
