2 GIs Killed, 3 Hurt by Bomblets in S. Iraq

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Two American soldiers were killed and three others injured by cluster bomblets in two incidents in southern Iraq, the U.S. Central Command reported Wednesday.
The command said the casualties raised to 112 the number of Gulf War noncombat deaths. It has said 141 Americans were killed in action in the war.
The names of the soldiers were withheld pending notification of relatives. All were assigned to the 3rd Armored Division based in Germany.
