PREP ROUNDUP : Trabuco Hills’ Rodriguez No-Hits Capistrano Valley

Danielle Rodriguez pitched a no-hitter as Trabuco Hills defeated Capistrano Valley, 3-0, in a nonleague softball game Friday at Trabuco Hills.
Rodriguez (2-4) struck out six and walked two, and had two hits. Emiley Leckey hit a two-run home run in the fourth for Trabuco Hills (8-9).
In other nonleague softball:
Mission Viejo 3, Tustin 1--Jody Lemire (3-2) pitched a four-hitter for host Mission Viejo (11-5).
Saddleback 13, Los Amigos 0 (five innings, mercy rule)--Desi Abrego hit a two-run home run in the third inning and also hit two triples, scored three runs and had four RBIs, and Kim Carstens had three hits, including a two-run home run in the first inning, scored three times and had three RBIs for host Saddleback (7-6).
University 2-2, San Clemente 1-0 (second game five innings, darkness)--Shareen Patton (6-2) pitched a one-hitter in the first game and a no-hitter in the second for visiting University (10-3).
In Olympic League softball:
Whittier Christian 4, Ontario Christian 1--Deborah Goddu pitched a two-hitter and struck out nine without a walk. Shannon Hart hit a leadoff home run in the third inning for Whittier Christian (1-5, 1-2).
In Sunset League softball:
Westminster 2, Edison 0--Lisa Robinett (4-2) pitched a two-hitter and struck out nine for visiting Westminster (10-4, 3-0).
Marina 4, Ocean View 3--Kamy Crouch had two hits and Willa Parchen (2-1) pitched and tripled and had one RBI for Marina (6-4, 2-1).
In Orange League tennis:
Valencia 17, Anaheim 1--Huey Nguyen and Mo Bina swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-1, in doubles for host Valencia (7-2, 2-0).
Magnolia 10, Savanna 8--Jules Velasco and Luis Turan swept, 6-3, 7-5, 7-6, for host Magnolia (2-0).
In Sea View League boys’ tennis:
University 15, Saddleback 3--Bryan Shapiro swept, 6-3, 6-0, 6-2, for University (11-1, 5-0) at Saddleback.
Woodbridge 16, Tustin 2--Victor Ro won, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, as the Warriors (9-4, 3-2) swept singles at Woodbridge.
In South Coast League tennis:
Capistrano Valley 10, El Toro 8--Steve Whiddon and Matt Stack, the No. 3 doubles team for Capistrano Valley, beat El Toro’s No. 1 doubles team, 6-3.
