*** Aaron Neville, “Warm Your Heart,” A&M.; This is the silky Neville of “Tell It Like It Is” fame taken to the logical extreme. Co-producer Linda Ronstadt even sticks Neville’s fluttering angel of a voice in front of a cherubic boys’ choir on a couple of songs, including a soaring “Ave Maria.” Gone are all but a few hints of the New Orleans funk he makes with his brothers, but the tasteful restraint of these arrangements keeps the focus on Neville’s always-stunning vocal flights.
