We read the June 23 letter from the family who turns off “Empty Nest” every time David Leisure and Park Overall appear on the screen and then turn it back on when Dinah Manoff is on. It made this family laugh hysterically.
Can people really be so dumb?!
Why even bother watching in the first place when two characters/actors so integral to the tone and content of the series (not to mention the sense of the episode’s story line) are constantly switched off?
We would love to see an episode of “Empty Nest” in which most of the scenes are between Leisure, Overall and Manoff. Just knowing that silly family was going through an off-on frenzy would be funnier than the episode itself!
