$1.1-Million Settlement Urged in Landslide Case
- Share via
The Los Angeles County Claims Board recommended Monday that three Malibu families whose homes were destroyed or damaged in landslides be paid $1.1 million to settle a lawsuit.
The Board of Supervisors, which generally accepts such recommendations, will make the final decision.
The lawsuit was filed by Alexander and Shirley Courage, Thomas and Camilla Sternberg and William and Doris Kuhn, all of whom lived in the Rambla Pacifico area of Malibu, one to two miles north of the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Rambla Pacifico Road.
