One fan was killed and 24 hurt in a stampede of fans at a soccer match Sunday between Kenya and Mozambique at Nairobi, Kenya.
The stampede followed an order by President Daniel arap Moi that the gates at the stadium be opened to allow fans to enter free of charge.
