Oxy Signs Oil Deal With Albania: Albania and Occidental Petroleum Corp. signed an agreement giving the Los Angeles company the right to search for oil off part of the Balkan country’s Adriatic coastline, Albania’s ATA news agency reported. Under the agreement, Occidental will underwrite the training of some Albanian oil workers, said ATA in a dispatch received in Vienna. Albania is believed rich in offshore oil reserves.
