Video Toppers: R.E.M. topped the field with nine nominations Wednesday for the 1991 MTV Video Music Awards. Among them was one for best video for “Losing My Religion.” Also nominated for the top award: Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game,” Queensryche’s “Silent Lucidity,” Divinyls’ “I Touch Myself,” Deee-Lite’s “Groove Is in the Heart” and C+C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now).” Winners will be announced Sept. 5 at the Universal Amphitheatre.
