FULLERTON : Fifth Skinhead Held in Beating of Youths
- Share via
Investigators have arrested a fifth skinhead in the beating earlier this month of a Chinese-American youth and two white friends in a local park, police said Friday.
A Fullerton police spokesman said a 14-year-old Whittier resident was booked on suspicion of aggravated assault and violation of a victim’s civil rights shortly after he was taken into custody Thursday night. He was released into the custody of his parents pending a Juvenile Court hearing.
The spokesman said more arrests are anticipated in the July 7 attack at Gilman Park in which at least 15 skinhead gang members surrounded the three youths, grilled them on their racial views and then jumped them.
