Ernst Jacobi, 76, a polio victim who served as Mayor Tom Bradley’s liaison to the handicapped community in the 1970s. Author of several technical publications, Jacobi also taught business writing at UCLA and Cal State Northridge and received many awards, among them one for his script “The Color Computer.” He also had recently served on the Los Angeles County Grand Jury. In Santa Monica on July 13 of heart failure.
