Get Rid of Board of Supervisors

Re “O.C. Cities May Be Stuck With New County Fees” (July 10): It would seem that the county czars have forgotten who already pays all fees and costs for our decadent county government.
The idea of charging cities for “services” is a redundancy--such costs, of course, filter right down to the taxpayer and this is, therefore, a doubling up.
With all of the Board of Supervisors’ errors, misjudgments, double-dipping and mindless posturing, they are a luxury we do not need. It is high time that the value of this layer of government be reviewed as to its necessity and/or desirability.
Do we need it?
Do we get our money’s worth?
I think not and feel that we should dispose of it.
