McDonnell Douglas Corp. President Gerald A. Johnston has received the additional title of chief operating officer.
Johnston, 60, was elected president of St. Louis-based McDonnell Douglas in March, 1988. From January, 1991, until May, 1991, he also served as interim president of McDonnell Aircraft Co.
