El Camino Resources Ltd., a seller and lessor of computer equipment, reported a 55% jump in its fiscal 1992 profit compared with the prior year on a 14% increase in revenue.
The company, which recently moved its headquarters to Woodland Hills from Northridge, is privately held but does disclose its audited, annual financial results. The company’s fiscal year ends April 30.
In fiscal 1992, El Camino’s profit climbed to $4.18 million from $2.70 million the prior year, and its annual revenue rose to $340.3 million from $298.1 million.
El Camino said the gains reflected its expansion during the year, which included the opening of four additional U.S. sales offices, its first Canadian office (in Toronto) and its purchase of a German computer leasing company through a joint venture with El Camino’s British partner, Applied Technology Corp. Ltd.
