Perceptronics Receives Contract in Joint Venture

Perceptronics Inc. in Woodland Hills said Professional Truckdriving Simulators, its joint venture with FAAC Inc. of Ann Arbor, Mich., has received a $2.43-million contract to supply 10 driver-skill training simulators to the U. S. Army.
The joint venture will deliver its TT150 truck-driving simulators to Army training sites during the next 12 months. Perceptronics, which specializes in military-related simulators, said it will book about $570,000 in revenue for subcontractor work on the program, including production of simulator cabs, electronics, sound systems and other services.
Professional Truckdriving Simulators also is marketing its products to commercial trucking companies and government agencies.
