Eight Orange County high school athletic programs will be honored in pregame ceremonies at the Rams-Minnesota Vikings game Nov. 29 at Anaheim Stadium in the first Southern Section/Los Angeles Rams “Cavalcade of Champions” awards.
The awards are based on comprehensive excellence in section athletic competition for boys and girls during the 1991-92 school term. The awards will be presented to the top 10 girls’ and boys’ team programs in the section.
The winning schools will receive 75 tickets for the Rams-Vikings game and a banner to display on campus. Among the girls’ award winners are Brea-Olinda, El Toro, Woodbridge, Mater Dei and Capistrano Valley. The boys’ winners include Laguna Hills, Esperanza and Calvary Chapel.
