San Pedro 35, Washington 6--Behind strong blocking, running back Ambrose Russo rushed for 91 yards in 17 carries and two touchdowns for San Pedro. Backfield mate Jeffrey Williams also scored twice for the Pirates.
The victory clinched both the Southern Pacific Conference and Southern League titles for San Pedro. The Pirate defense held Washington to one first down in the first half and a total of 143 yards in the game.
General quarterback R.B. Bonner completed four passes in 12 attempts for 70 yards and one touchdown.
