HONG KONG — She was just looking for mom.
A 3-year-old girl fell out of a window from a 13th-floor apartment Friday but suffered only minor injuries, police said Saturday.
The girl, identified as Lau Tim, had climbed up to the kitchen window to look for her mother, who was out shopping, when she slipped and fell.
Police said the toddler’s fall was broken by clotheslines. She landed on a second-floor balcony.
Residents in the apartment building, who rushed out after hearing a loud bang, found the girl sitting down, crying for help. Police said she suffered minor injures to her left shoulder.
