Woman Roaming White House Held

The Secret Service intended to charge with unlawful entry a woman they detained on the White House grounds, minutes after she wandered through the West Wing press area asking for President Clinton, a spokesman said. Clinton was taping an interview at television studios across town at the time. The woman, dressed in a dark coat and hat, was stopped on a driveway as she was leaving the North Grounds of the White House. Agents detained her for questioning.
