Santa Barbara 42, Pierce 33--Dan McMullen completed 29 of 43 passes for 359 yards and three touchdowns, but the Brahmas lost for the 26th consecutive time in a WSC Northern Division game at Santa Barbara.
Pierce (0-8, 0-3) pulled to within 35-33 late in the third quarter on scoring passes by McMullen to Shaun Griffin for 21 yards and Vaughn Corley for 12.
