Health-Safety Fair Scheduled Saturday

The city’s first health, safety and resource fair will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the George Washington Community Center, 250 E. Cypress St.

Presented by the Community Services Department, the event will feature representatives from state, county and local agencies to provide services, information and referrals.

Services offered will include fingerprinting for children; dental, vision, hearing and spinal screenings; immunizations; pregnancy prevention and education; and fitness tests.

Also available will be information on nutrition; tobacco, drug and alcohol abuse; lead poisoning prevention; disaster preparedness; and employment opportunities. Information: (714) 956-5500.
