Franklin 48, Verdugo Hills 0--The Dons (0-10, 0-7) were held to 49 yards offense against first-place Franklin (8-2, 7-0) at Verdugo Hills.
Franklin, which has won four consecutive conference titles and has 28 consecutive conference victories, were led by quarterback Erik Garcia, who completed 12 of 18 passes for 193 yards and three touchdowns.
Garcia has passed for 2,345 yards and 37 touchdowns this season. Oscar Serrano rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns in 12 carries and receiver Chris Jauregui caught five passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns.
