So Art Alexakis of Everclear can shrug off being called a careerist (“Attitude Adjustment,” by Richard Cromelin, Nov. 9).
Can he also shrug off spouse abuse with a flippant comment on not being able to afford drugs? Can he shrug off the charges of jumping on the indie-alternative bandwagon with his third-rate Nirvana rip-offs?
This guy is the Pat Boone of his generation. Wearing his druggie past on his sleeve is how he justifies his decidedly non-grunge true identity of talentless poseur.
