** Black Lab, “Your Body Above Me,” DGC. Black Lab’s clenched-fist passion and muscular yet burnished guitar attack should guarantee it a slot on the same radio playlists that favor kindred spirits such as Matchbox 20 and Third Eye Blind. But like those bands, this trio equates hollowed-out melodrama with emotional depth and winds up sounding like a second-rate grunge band with a Rod McKuen jones.
