Lecture Series Focuses on New Technology

Insights into computers and other technology will be shared during the 1997-98 Distinguished Lecture Series, sponsored by the UC Irvine department of information and computer science.

The free public lectures take place from 11 am. to noon in the McDonnell Douglas Auditorium on East Peltason Drive.

On Dec. 1, Donald Norman from Hewlett-Packard Laboratories will present “Taming Technology: Why Having the Best Technology Is Irrelevant, or Where Edison Went Wrong.”
