Trojans Doing the Minutes Waltz

USC Coach Henry Bibby has said he would give all of his players a long look throughout most of the nonconference season. And so, 10 Trojans have played at least 10 minutes in each of the first two games. No one has played more than 29 minutes.

In its 1997-98 Basketball Annual, Street & Smith’s is picking USC to make the 1998 NCAA tournament.

USC is shooting 48.5% from behind the three-point line, almost equal to what the team is shooting on field goals, 49.6%. Adam Spanich is leading the Trojans, having made 16 of 33 three-point shots in the first two games.

Bibby is predicting a victory for the Trojan football team today.
“It’s a no-brainer,” he said.
