In other 3-A first-round games:
El Camino Real 52, Roosevelt 6--The second-seeded Conquistadores scored 10 points in the first 24 seconds and were never challenged at El Camino Real.
Erik Ayala tackled Marcos Garcia in the end zone for a safety on the Rough Riders’ first play from scrimmage.
After a free kick, Quincy Wright scored on a 62-yard return.
El Camino Real (7-4) built a 32-0 lead in the first quarter, adding touchdown runs by Aaron Fredette, Devontra Hargrove and Wright.
Fredette returned a blocked field-goal attempt 86 yards for a touchdown and connected with Demond Daniels on 47-yard scoring pass play.
Hargrove finished with 92 yards in 11 carries and scored two touchdowns. Wright gained 81 yards in nine carries, just two in the second half.
Roosevelt (4-6) had 27 yards in the second half and 129 in the game.
Jerry Preciado scored on a six-yard run in the second quarter for the Rough Riders.
