All five planets visible to the naked eye can be seen at the same time in the evening through early December. From east to west thery are Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Mars and Mercury. Venus and Jupiter are among the brightest objects in the sky and are easy to find. Venus is in the southwest, while Jupiter is high in the South. Mars is slightly west of Venus. Mercury is just above the southwest horizon, and Saturn is high in the southeast. Look for the planets about 5:15 p.m. before Mercury sets.
