The season tips off next week with six county tournaments, including the National Sports Grill event at Loara, Servite and La Quinta highs, beginning Monday. It features a 16-team field led by Santa Margarita, Villa Park and Woodbridge.
Long Beach Poly, expected to be one of the state’s top teams, takes on several traditionally strong county teams, when the Daily Pilot Tip-Off Classic begins Monday at Newport Harbor and Corona del Mar highs.
