The Ice Dogs were defeated by Kansas City, 7-5, Wednesday night in an International Hockey League game at Kansas City.
Kansas City, last in the Midwest Division, scored three goals in the third period to snap a six-game losing streak.
The Ice Dogs, who lead the Southwest Division, still have the best record in the league, 16-8-1.
