Dossie Hollingsworth, 73, actress in Broadway musicals in the 1940s. A native of Fort Mill, S.C., Hollingsworth became a protege of director-producer George Abbott. She appeared in such shows as “Best Foot Forward,” “Billion Dollar Baby,” “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” “Pal Joey,” “High Spirits” and “Hello, Dolly!” She also appeared in the 1958 musical revue “8 and Run,” which was the premiere production of Studio Theater in Carmel, Calif. On Nov. 20 in Carmel.
