The Missing Concerto
After attending Sunday’s extraordinary L.A. Philharmonic concert, I eagerly awaited the review in The Times on Monday morning. I was shocked to see that the centerpiece of the program, the Mozart Clarinet Concerto, played by Michele Zukovsky in as fine an interpretation as I have ever heard, was totally ignored. Did reviewer Timothy Mangan go out for an early intermission?

Editor’s note: A paragraph on Zukovsky’s performance was inadvertently omitted. It appeared in Tuesday’s edition.
