Jerry Green and Gabe Cagwin have signed letters of intent to play basketball at UC Irvine, the school announced Friday.

Green is a 6-foot-4 guard from Pomona High. Cagwin is a 5-10 guard from Belfair (Wash.) North Mason High.

The Cal State Fullerton-Pacific softball doubleheader today will start at noon at the Titan softball complex. It had been scheduled for 4 p.m.

Soccer player Perry Valaskantjis, a starter the last two years at Santa Margarita, has signed to play at College of Notre Dame, a Division II school in Belmont, Calif.

Mater Dei softball player Jodi Schicker has signed a letter of intent to attend New Mexico State, her father, John, said Friday.

Schicker was an All-South Coast center-fielder her sophomore and junior seasons.
