Authors of Book on City to Sign Copies

Authors of a history of the city will be on hand today to answer questions and sign copies of their voluminous work, “Simi Valley: A Journey Through Time.”
The authors will be at the Strathearn Historical Park, 137 Strathearn Place, from 1 to 4 p.m. Authors include Pat Havens, Bill Appleton, Michael Kuhn, Ken Garges, Rick Johnson and John McCarthy.
In addition to the book’s contributors, members of several pioneer families will be available to answer questions and detail the earliest years of Simi Valley’s settlement.
Park officials will also be giving guided tours of the buildings and exhibits at the park, including the old Strathearn home and the 200-year-old adobe built by the Spanish rancheros.
