Britain’s “Dr. Death” Harold Shipman--one of the world’s most prolific serial killers--should remain in prison until he dies, Home Secretary David Blunkett ruled.
Shipman, a family doctor from northern England, was convicted in January 2000 of killing 15 of his patients with heroin injections.
Shipman was handed 15 life sentences.
A 2001 government report said he was suspected of having murdered as many as 297 patients over 20 years.
