From Times Staff Reports
The FBI is asking for the public’s help in tracking down a man who robbed nine banks last year in San Diego, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Temecula, Riverside and San Bernardino.
“We’re hoping somebody out there knows who he is,” FBI spokeswoman Laura Bosley said of the “Big Boy Bandit.” He is described as white, in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6 feet 1, 240 pounds and with thin brown sideburns. Anyone with information should call (310) 477-6565.
