Official Warns North Not to Isolate Itself

South Korea’s foreign minister warned North Korea not to increase nuclear tensions, saying such action would only further isolate the communist state. Foreign Minister Yoon Young Kwan said if the North “takes measures that would further aggravate the situation, such as continuing developing its nuclear program, such actions would result in loss of trust from the other five countries and that would isolate” North Korea.
The comments came after the North took an angry, hard-line stance following landmark talks with the United States, South Korea, Japan, China and Russia.
