Phil subscribers line up for tickets
As Los Angeles Philharmonic staff prepared Sunday for subscribers to exchange or purchase additional tickets, lines grew so long that they opened the box office two hours early, then wound up closing two hours later than scheduled. The result: sales of $12,000 worth of tickets for the inaugural season at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Subscribers have the privilege all week of exchanging or buying additional tickets before the box office opens to the general public Sunday at noon. Sales will take place at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion until the new concert hall opens in October.
