Two British railway cars from the “Hogwarts Express” that brought Harry Potter and his pals to school have been vandalized, police said Thursday.
The maroon railway cars, part of the train used in the first two Harry Potter movies, were covered in green and silver graffiti that will cost an estimated $5,000 to clean.
“It is just mindless vandalism,” said James Shuttleworth, chief operations officer for the West Coast Railway Co., which owns the train. “I don’t think they were targeting Harry Potter.”
