Israeli Misconduct Against Arab Citizens

Re “Israelis Faulted for Response to Riots,” Sept. 2: It is a testament to Israel that it not only appointed a panel to look into possible misconduct by Israeli police against Israeli Arabs but that it actually found wrongdoing. Let me ask this question: Has the Palestinian Authority ever conducted an inquiry into the actions of Palestinian police, soldiers or citizens against Israelis? I didn’t think so.

Re “For Israelis, Little Things Become Scary,” Aug. 31: Israelis become unsafe when they leave their homes. Palestinians are unsafe whether they leave their homes or not. When Palestinians leave their homes they could be killed or assaulted by the Israel Defense Forces, and when they’re inside their homes, Israeli bulldozers could demolish their homes at any second.
