British Air Considers Antimissile System

British Airways is talking to Boeing Co. and Airbus about installing military antimissile technology on its aircraft amid concern about the threat of terrorist attacks.
The carrier is asking governments to protect commercial planes by identifying potential missile launch sites near airports, said Geoff Want, the airline’s director of safety and security.
British Airways had to ground flights to Saudi Arabia last month after security authorities warned the airline of a threat to its planes.
