Motorist, 26, Killed in Two-Car Crash

A 26-year-old Oxnard man died following a traffic accident that occurred after he apparently ran a red light, authorities said Friday.
Benjamin Joseph Sadowski died at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard shortly after the 6:30 p.m. crash on Thursday, police said.
Sadowski was driving west on Channel Islands Boulevard. Witnesses said he ran a red light at Peninsula Road and struck a Ford van driven by Jonathan Jordan, 50, of Oxnard, police said. Jordan was not injured.
