Laguna Beach Man, 45, Dies When Van, Pickup Collide

A 45-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday in Laguna Beach, police said.
William Duffy Kreuger of Laguna Beach was killed when his Dodge van collided with a Toyota pickup that had veered across the center line on El Toro Road just north of Laguna Canyon Road. Kreuger was pronounced dead at the scene after the 2:50 a.m. wreck.
The other driver, a 28-year-old Laguna Niguel man, was treated at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana for burns. His name and condition were not released.
