Cancer Society to Hold Fund-Raising Relays

The Gold Coast Region of the American Cancer Society will hold relay fund-raisers this month and next.
Relay for Life is a 24-hour event in which teams of at least 10 people take turns walking or running around a track.
Music, entertainment and food will be available, and participants can camp out at the event.
The events will start at 10 a.m. and end at 10 a.m. the next day. They will be held:
* Sept. 20-21 at Oxnard High School, 3400 W. Gonzalez Road, and at Adolfo Camarillo High School, 4660 Mission Oaks Blvd.
* Oct. 11-12 at Royal High School, 1402 Royal Ave., in Simi Valley.
