Body Discovered on River Jetty

The body of a man was discovered Monday by a surfer on the San Gabriel River jetty in Seal Beach, police said.
The man, who has a beard, has not been identified and autopsy results are pending, Orange County coroner’s officials said.
A surfer called police about 12:30 p.m. after he spotted the body on the jetty, adjacent to the 1st Street beach, according to Seal Beach Police Sgt. Bob Mullins.
