Home building in healthy state

U.S. housing starts in August stayed close to a 17-year high, and building permits for single-family homes rose to a record.
Homebuilding was at an annual rate of 1.82 million,down 3.8% from the 1.89 million in July, the Commerce Department said. Single-family homes permits rose to a 1.47 million rate.
