Harvest Partners Buys Organic Product Maker

Harvest Partners Inc., a New York-based private-equity company, said it had purchased Levlad Inc., a maker of natural and organic personal care products.
Terms of the transaction weren’t disclosed. Levlad is based in Chatsworth.
Included in the purchase is Levlad subsidiary Arbonne International Inc. Harvest Partners plans to expand Arbonne’s distribution network of independent consultants in the U.S. and Canada, through which it sells its brand of more than 250 health and beauty products.
