The robbery occurred Tuesday about 2 p.m. while the motorist was stopped at a light, police said. Two robbers, one with a handgun, forced their way into the vehicle, then drove the victim to a nearby location, where he was tied up and robbed.
The robbers were described as in their 20s, one with a shaved head. Anyone with information is urged to call Det. Darrell Hardin at (562) 799-4100, Ext. 109.
