Weekend box office

“Closer” edged into the top 5 films Monday when more accurate tallies of weekend box office became available, trading places with “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie,” which Sunday estimates had positioned ahead of the movie version of Patrick Marber’s play. Other rankings remained the same.
