The Annie bids? Truly ‘Incredibles’

Pixar’s “The Incredibles” led the field with 16 nominations for the Annie Awards, which recognize the year’s best animation.
“The Incredibles” was nominated for best animated film, along with “Shrek 2,” “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie” and “Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence.”
Nickelodeon’s “SpongeBob SquarePants” was nominated for best animated TV production, with “Batman,” “My Life as a Teenage Robot,” “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.”
Winners will be announced Jan. 30 at the Alex Theatre in Glendale.
